I've used iMovie for some of my first video projects, and am ready to go beyond that.  What should I look into, and what's the best way to figure the thing out?

I'm working with this new director, and we've decided we want to bring on a new writer to do a final draft of the screenplay, but I'm not sure how we should structure such a deal.   Would appreciate any advice you can give.

I'd really appreciate if if you folks would take a look at http://www.videorising.com/video/flamenco-test-2 -- there's a cut I'm trying to work out that I just can't get right.  It's about 30 seconds in.

So my director is kind of new, and we've talked and agreed that we should bring on a co-writer.    Do you have any advice on how we could structure something like this?

Well, the most obvious would be that you could lose it all.  But seriously, how else do you get your first movie made?   Are there any other risks?
