If you're visiting ProductionNext on a phone, you'll notice that it's not very well set up for it. That's true. As we said, we're still in beta...

Right now, ProductionNext is only intended for use on desktop browsers and iPad-sized tablets. We'll be dealing with the phone situation in the future; meahwhile, we hope to see you over on the desktop side!

Producer Foundry: Home

A Business School for Independent Film and a Community for Entrepreneurial Filmmakers.
San Francisco, California

You're about to join the Producer Foundry group on ProductionNext:

We are a group of film and media producers with the entrepreneurial spirit. We are a hub for filmmakers who think like entrepreneurs (or who want to think like entrepreneurs), creating projects that actually make money. We are a place to gather and talk about the challenges of living and working in independent film, and to meet people who can help you overcome those challenges. We are a nexus for filmmakers who realize you can't make a movie by yourself, and that there's so much more to filmmaking than just making the film.

Membership in this ProductionNext group is done by application: Your request will be sent to Producer Foundry's group leaders, who will handle your request.

In order to become a member of this group, you'll need a free account at ProductionNext. If you continue with the group application, we'll send you on to the ProductionNext registration page, where you can learn more about us and sign up, and we'll send your application on to the group leaders as soon as you're registered.

If you are a ProductionNext member but are just not logged in right now, please log in first, and then try the link again.

If you continue from here, and register with ProductionNext and join this group:

  • You'll get access to the members-only content that the group leaders and members are creating for the group: updates, events, documents, and more.
  • You'll be able to take part in group discussions.
  • Any public content you have on ProductionNext — your project profiles, videos, journal entries, Q&As, and classifieds — will be available to group members on the group's pages. Private information will not be shared with them. You can change how your content is shared at any time, by changing the settings of the content.

If you do not join the group:

  • You will not get access to the group's members-only content.
  • You will not be able to take part in group discussions.
  • You may be able to become a member of the group at a later time; that depends on a future decision of the group leader.

Once you've become a member of the group, you can leave it at any time, via a link on your Settings page or in your entry on the group's Members page.

The group leaders have asked that you answer the following questions to help them decide on your membership. Your answers will be sent to the group owner, but not distributed further by ProductionNext. Answers to all questions are required.
